Happy Autumn Equinox

The Autumn Equinox is one of those magical moments. On this day, day and night share the sky equally, and for just a brief spell, the garden seems to hold its breath between the fading warmth of summer and the crisp edge of autumn.

The Autumn Equinox is less a date on the calendar and more a feeling in the air. The sunlight starts to slant golden, casting longer shadows across the beds. The mornings arrive cooler, heavy with dew. The bees buzz a little slower, as if savouring the last of the blossoms.
